trifecta TM
A branding identity and packaging design project for a tech-forward cannabis company specializing in heirloom-quality, ethically grown cultivars. The brand highlights a rotating trio of carefully selected phenotypes, offering consumers a curated experience rooted in craft, innovation, and sustainability. The design system establishes a strong visual presence while positioning the company as both premium and forward-looking within a highly competitive market.

Concept
A modern cannabis brand focusing on the cultivation of legacy and heirloom seeds, sun-grown dry flower, and designer edibles. Products are packaged as a trio set of the three main cannabis types: Indica, Hybrid (50/50), and Sativa. Additional CBD ratios and Ruderalis products round-out the product range.
“Despite the stigma that still shadows the cannabis industry, legal companies face the same reality as any other sector: they’re competing for shelf space. In a growing and challenging market, strong branding isn’t just aesthetic—it’s the foundation for presence, trust, and differentiation.”
Challenge
Design a ‘series’ or ‘multiples’ approach—different varieties, but all with the same packaging dimensions; solutions should contain your consumable/perishable item in an efficient and sustainable manner; keep materials simple.
Research
A growing industry with a product that benefits from design
Cannabis carries a layered history—rooted in ancient languages, sacred rituals, and cultural exchange—yet modern legalization often reduces it to standardized products and industrial branding. Where traditional cultivation and edibles reflected terroir, spirituality, and craft, today’s market prioritizes potency, compliance, and design constraints. The challenge lies in reconciling the plant’s deep cultural and biological heritage with the demands of regulation, commercialization, and consumer perception.
